The 7% Glycolic Acid Exfoliating Toner is an exfoliant that significantly smooths skin texture. Regular use promotes a more even skin tone and a more radiant complexion. It also reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. This water-based toner is suitable for daily use. The toner contains glycolic acid (a well-studied alpha-hydroxy acid) at a concentration of 7%, as well as a plant-derived Tasmanian berry extract, the color of which varies seasonally. Therefore, the formula's color may vary from time to time. This formula should not be used on sensitive, fragile, or peeling skin. Please refer to the sun protection note and other warnings in the enclosed instructions. The pH of this formula is approximately 3.6. Glycolic acid has a pKa of 3.6. The pKa is the most important factor to consider in acid-based formulas, as it describes the acidity of a molecule. When the pKa is close to the pH, the balance between salt and acidity is ideal, optimizing the acid's effectiveness and reducing skin irritation.
