An ode to vetiver, a celebration of modernity for a distinctive fragrance signed in black ink. Encre Noire is a bold fragrance, an ode to wood. Its fresh, woody opening is drawn from the aromatic naturalness of cypress. Its vibrant body combines the mysterious notes of Bourbon and Haitian vetiver with the warm, enveloping notes of cashmere wood and musk. ENCRE NOIRE embodies the strong Lalique codes, a blend of noble materials and the technical prowess of our master glassmakers. The bottle is inspired by the "Biches" Inkwell, a work by René Lalique dating from 1913.
