Mountain Pepper owes its name to its fruits, which are similar to the berries of the tropical tree Litsea cubeba. The fresh-smelling, rejuvenating essential oil from the tree's fruit is reminiscent of a sweet, delicate citrus aroma with a clear and uplifting accord. Bergamot is a fruit full of contrasts. Despite its citrus origins, it is known as the "Prince of Pears," evoking memories of long evening walks through Mediterranean groves. Although it blooms in winter, bergamot, with its bittersweet aromas, is both fresh and tangy, as well as warming and invigorating. Coriander was known in antiquity as the secret seed of immortality, happiness, and love. It was prized by the Greeks for its aroma as early as 2000 BC. Ancient stone tablets found in Pylos prove that coriander was cultivated for the production of perfumes. The spice has a woody aura. Character: Fougère, aromatic-woody. Top notes: Litsea cubeba, orange, bergamot. Heart notes: Pepper, rosemary, rose, coriander. Base notes: Musk, amber.
